Mordax

Mordax nails are sold individually or by the pack of 48. Check out these nails if you need traction to help prevent your horse or pony from slipping on cocrete, blacktop or similar srfaces.
The Mordax nails can replace some of the regular horseshoe nails in aa shoe, usually one medial and one lateral side of the shoe.
The carbide pins in the head of these nails are not quite as large as the pins in must plug studs.
