3rd. Millennium Babi- Cuff (Formerly Ibex Babi-Cuff)

Ibex Babi-Cuff - The universal foal shoe.  For correction of lower limb alignment in young horses - lateral, medial, toe, heel extensions.  Available in four sizes.

1 = 1.3/4" wide (hoof width)

2 = 2.1/4"

3 = 2.3/4"

4 = 3.1/4"

The cuffs can be widened or narrowed by aprox. 1/4" as they have a steel eggbar within the plastic cuff that will retain the altered shape.

Adhesive is needed to glue on the Babi Cuff shoes. We recommend either the Vettec Superfast if you work really fast or Adhere for a more leisurly approach.Many farriers prefer acrylic for this purpose and we do offer Hoof-Life and Equilox products that also work really well.

Superglue used to be offered with the cuffs but has been withdrawn for a few years now as it only worked well where the cuff and hoof could make good contact. Many hooves that require Babi-Cuffs are somewhat misshapen and the hoof repair products (Suggested above) will fill void areas and make the cuff more secure.
