Glue On Shoes
Thorobred, Mustad, the 3rd. Millenium, Sigafus, are represented on these pages. Different stylesof glue on shoes that all have a place in the horseshoeing rig of the progressive farrier. Glue on takes only a fraction more time that nailing shoes once farriers get some practice and glue shoes on a few horses.
Glue on seems to be the best way to go when trying to attach a corrective shoe or cuff to a foals hoof.
These hooves do not have the thickness for nails, nor do the foals want to have the trauma of going through the nailing process.
