Borium, Drilltec, Flux etc.
The "Drilltec" style products can be raised to the horseshoes either with a torch (Oxy acetylene, usually) or by laying the pieces of "Drilltec" onto red hot shoes and returning the shoes to the forge whilst the "Drilltec" melts onto the shoe.
"Drilltec" may perhaps be a trade registered name but it gets used to describe most of the carbide grit products that can be braised on the horse shoe in a forge.
The other Borium products that require forge application will also need flux to clean the area where the application is to be made.
we do have the FLUX ALSO LISTED.
Price: From $27.00 to $34.00
MFC Borium bullets are made of borium (tungsten carbide crystals) that are located inside a small piece of copper tubing for either a toe borium or a heel borium puddle. There is enough to do four horses.
